STOCKHOLM: An Air India plane carrying 179 passengers struck a building at Arlanda Airport in Stockholm on Wednesday, but did not hurt, police said.
"The 179 passengers were able to get off the plane by a moving staircase and then enter the terminal," the police wrote in a statement.
The cause of the accident was not known immediately, the police said.
It occurred at 17:45 (16:45 GMT), about 50 m from Terminal 5, the main terminal of international flights.
The pictures taken on the scene show the Boeing plane parked on the runway, the end of his left wing stuck on the side of a building.
Several police cars and fire trucks were parked next to the plane.
According to the website of the airport operator, Swedavia, the flight originated in New Delhi.
