What is the story?
There was a lot of anticipation about the beginnings of Lars Sullivan's main squad. He was qualified as a free agent by Michael Cole, with video packages of him broadcast on both brands. While he's still unsure what mark he will go, Mike Johnson on PW Elite gave some clarification on what WWE has planned for Sullivan.

In the past, many have viewed Lars Sullivan as the second coming of Brock Lesnar. Whether you agree or disagree, one thing is certain, it is an exceptional and legitimate athlete.
He spent relatively little time on NXT, where he even competed for the NXT championship (though unsuccessfully). After a year and a half with the yellow mark, he finally seems to make his debut in the main line because WWE has been passionate about him since GROSS after Survivor Series.
As mentioned, WWE has been very clear in specifying the fact that it is a free agent. This led to many speculations about the creative projects of his early days.
The heart of the problem
According to Mike Johnson on PW Elite (by way of Ringside NewsWWE has big plans for Sullivan. Both brands are expected to fight him and Sullivan, meanwhile, does not remain inactive.
It seems that it appears on both brands, causing havoc and destroying superstars. Johnson said that he will be booked as a monster (which is planned). This would certainly be an interesting scenario, since the story of "free agent" has not been used since John Cena.
This alone will spark much more interest for its upcoming debut.

It will be interesting to see how WWE reacts to Sullivan's debut. There is little doubt that it will be pushed as it certainly has the "look" necessary to succeed at the WWE.
