Ferrari boss Maurizio Arrivabene warned Lewis Hamilton that Sebastian Vettel would be back to his ways of winning next season.
Sebastian Vettel had a difficult season. The race strategy is not going as planned and small mistakes are very expensive. At the end of the season, Lewis Hamilton had an 88-point lead, which Ferrari would not have been happy with.
However, Arrivabene thinks his team will be able to end this period of Mercedes domination.
"In the last few races we have seen that the real Vettel is back." Arrivabene told Sky Italia.
"Every individual goes through ups and downs and it's useless to point fingers at people."
The Ferrari boss admitted that "we all expected more of ourselves in 2018. You win and lose together, we have progressed, but we have finally lost."
Vettel now enjoys some time before the start of the 2019 season and admits that "I have not been to the top of my form".
Ferrari will look to fight for the championship and with young driver Charles Leclerc at one of the seats, this could force Vettel to be his best.
