If you are interested in the new products that Microsoft plans to market in the future, know that they are now known to the public.
Brad Sams, author known for his insider information on upcoming Microsoft products, is the source. He has published a new book called "Beneath the Surface" that covers the history and future of Microsoft Surface products, as well as a chapter on future Surface devices.
According to the author, the following devices are planned for 2019 and 2020:
- Ambient Surface Brand Computer Device – Spring 2019
- Surface Pro with USB-C and Small Housings – T4 2019
- Surface Laptop with AMD processor – Q4 2019
- Foldable Andromeda tablet with two screens and LTE – H2 2019
- New surface book – T1 2020
- Surface Monitor / Studio – 2020
We already knew some devices, such as Andromeda, which has been in development for some time. It is also interesting to know that Microsoft will finally move to USB-C for the next Surface Pro.
For the Surface Laptop with AMD processors, it seems that Microsoft is considering reducing its reliance on Intel chips. However, there will probably still be Intel versions of the computer.
