As Jane Manchun Wong, a renowned software engineer and search engine for hidden features, points out, Facebook seems to be planning to give users the ability to censor their personal calendar.
Are there some words you prefer not to see in your Facebook comments? Some topics may not be worth the time you'd like to get excited about. Maybe you just found this shitty emoji too ugly for your page. In any case, a feature allowing users to prevent certain words, phrases or emoticons from touching their eyes is in the making … at least as regards comments on personal timelines.
Jane Manchun Wong, a computer science student, known for her popular applications of reverse engineering to find out what is planned, shared a screen capture of how Facebook could integrate functionality into the interface of the platform:

Apparently, the text that a user chooses to ban his profile will only be censored for him; publications with the word / phrase / emoji in particular will not be prevented, nor will the items be censored for other users. As Facebook has pointed out:
"Add words, phrases, or emojis that you do not want to display in comments in your timeline, and people who post these comments and their friends will still be able to see them."
While it may be a better idea to block users who display such things on your wall, this alternative could save you a bit of time managing excessive repeat offenses; Instagram currently filters comments in the same way, and then others. Similarly, on Instagram, some terms can be selected to be automatically hidden from the user, but the social network also goes further to automatically block comments of intimidation.
