Gods and Goddesses return to Marvel Eternals movie. Angelina Jolie, who won an Oscar for her role in Girl interrupted, is in talks to join the next adaptation of Jack Kirby's feature film The eternals, Depending on the variety. The film, which comes from Disney and Marvel Studios, will be directed by Chloe Zhao.
Eternals are a hidden race living on Earth and their creators were gods of space called the Celestials who visited the Earth 5 million years ago. They performed genetic experiments on the first forms of life on Earth, giving them cosmic powers and near-immortality. The Eternals were created to serve the good and are sworn enemies of the Deviants, also created by the Celestials. Eternals and Deviants have existed for thousands of years and are often confused with local gods and other mythological characters. The Eternals are incredibly beautiful, while the mutated Deviants are grotesque – they act like a cult and think that the world was created for them. You may remember that the mythology of Eternals was briefly mentioned in the Guardians of the Galaxy films, preparing their introduction to phase 4.
There is no word on who Jolie will play, unfortunately. She will be the next star in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, one of Disney's four live movie adaptations this year, with Dumbo, Aladdin and The Lion King. She will also play in the hybrid live-action / animation The one and only Ivan.
The director of Chinese origin Chloe Zhao (The rider, the songs that my brother taught me) is currently in post-production on the film Nomadland, which stars Frances McDormand.
the Eternals The film should feature Marvel's first overtly homosexual character. Marvel currently has nine untitled films in the broadcast schedule between 2019 and 2022, but no release date for Eternals has been announced.
