Anthony Martial claims that his form of Manchester United goal is to play regularly and recognizes that Jose Mourinho has overseen a tactical improvement of his game.
The 22-year-old has played in 11 of his last 12 games and has scored six goals in his last six national games for United. The supporters elected the martial player of the month of October and the French international scored his sixth goal against the top six in the Premier League in Manchester City earlier this month.
The injury prevented Martial from appearing for France in their recent international matches against the Netherlands and Uruguay. He fought on recent visits to Crystal Palace and Young Boys at United, although Jose Mourinho resisted his substitution for both games.
On the eve of the Young Boys win in the Champions League, Martial spoke of his return to form and the way he developed his tactics under Mourinho.
"The key is to play games," said Martial in the United program. "For me, when you play a game, that's when you find your pleasure and you start recovering your form.
"If you do not play regularly and you only participate in workouts, you may still be in a decent shape, but it's not the same as when you Play in matches, so yes, I hope to continue to organize a good series of games and perform in them.
"I think that [my improvement] is more at the tactical level. I'm trying to take good positions to best help my team. I have also tried to work harder on defense and try to help the camp while we are not in possession of the ball.
"We are working a lot on tactics and trying to do my best, I listen carefully to the advice of all the coaching staff we have here and I find that it helps me a lot."
