Did Morgan meet the whisperers a few years ago?

The dead who walk Fans are beginning to believe that Whisperers were teased years ago in a season three episode.

The fan theory began after Daryl Dixon unveiled a Whisperer in the conclusion of Sunday's 9×08 episode. In the last moments of the last episode of 2018 The dead who walkit was revealed that the survivors wore faces that once belonged to the marchers. Covering themselves with skin and walker flesh and keeping their voices in a low voice allows them to melt into the skin of the dead.

To return to season three, Morgan's first meeting with Rick Grimes took place at a time when Morgan Jones was thought to be hallucinating. While acting like a fool, he told Rick that he had seen "people wearing the face of dead".

At the time, Whisperers were years away from arriving on The dead who walk TV series and were also years of being a factor in Robert Kirkman The dead who walk comics. For this reason, it seems that Morgan did not talk about Whisperers but it's rather a coincidence.

"This was certainly prior to my knowledge of Whisperers, as they were not yet in the book," the Walking DeadThe content manager, Scott Gimple, told Comicbook.com in 2016. "Maybe that could become a reference." At the time of Gimple's statement, Lennie James and her character Morgan Jones were still part of The dead who walk. Having now gone through Fear the undead, the only character who took part in these conversations with Morgan of the third season is Michonne. It seems very unlikely that she will suddenly remember Morgan's assertions and, if she did, it would not serve much to the story.

Whisperers become a factor or not Fear the undead is unknown, but it would be a possible place to tell their original story, as The dead who walk now takes place about seven years before his series on siblings.
