"Encounter" starts with ratings from the audience and marks tvN's story

The tvN "meeting" is a fantastic start!

With "Song Hye Kyo" and "Park Bo Gum", "Encounter" speaks of two people of very different origins and personalities who begin a flash romance after an unexpected encounter in Cuba.

Its premiere, November 28, reported an audience of 8.7%, with a peak at 10.1% according to Nielsen Korea.

"Encounter" now holds the title of the best audience for the premiere of a TVN drama on Wednesday-Thursday. Not only that, but he also won the second best audience of all tvN dramas to date, just behind the record held by "Mr. Sun "at 8.9%.

While ratings for cable drama are aggregated slightly differently, "Encounter" received the highest ratings of all drama presented on Wednesday and Thursday nights on cable and public television channels on November 28.

It also performed well among tvN's target audience, the 20-40 age group, averaging 5.1% with a maximum of 6.1%. It was particularly appreciated by television viewers, from teenagers to 30 years old.

Although not without its critics, "Encounter" has aroused undeniable interest, with Song Hye Kyo, Park Bo Gum, Cuba, Sunset at El Malecón, and other related terms referring to the real-time search rankings during its broadcast.

SBS's "The Last Empress" also continued with ratings of 5.7% and 7.9% during its November 28th broadcast.

MBC's Children of Nobody recorded 3.8% and 4.7% viewers, while KBS2's "Feel Good to Die" had audience ratings of 2.4% and 3.5%. MBN's Love Alert recorded an audience of 1.7%.
