Huawei will replace the notch with a pin opening in a future phone – Tech News

As announced on Huawei Weibo's official page, the company plans to launch another smartphone in December of this year, probably the first to arrive on the market without glasses or notch.

Believe it or not, another smartphone launch is still scheduled for 2018 for Huawei, and the unidentified device is due to be announced in December, as an article published by Weibo on November 26th indicates.

The image shows an outline of the device – without bezel and without notch – with a thin bright light beam from an opening hole drilled in the upper left corner of the phone, suggesting that the front camera will be contained in this tiny cutting.

In most modern smartphones, selfie cameras are almost centered at the top of the screen, but this one looks like that of the future Samsung Infinity-O screen – to possibly be implemented in one of the future derivatives of the Galaxy S10 but not yet confirmed – teased at the developer conference earlier this month.

Without any mention of the device on any other social network channel, we can assume that the phone will only be marketed in China, at least for the moment. Previous camera leaks, such as the one from ITHome, reveal that the device will call "Nova 4", joining the Nova range, available only on the Chinese market.

Although we know that the phone will arrive in December, the exact date has not yet been revealed. Keep your eyes open on the Huawei Weibo page for an official date. – AFP Relaxnews
