Selena Gomez spoke to Elle.com about self-confidence and strength in a new interview on the set of her Strong Girl SGxPUMA Activewear campaign.
"I think it's important that girls know the strength of everything, their identity and their souls are in themselves," said Gomez. She. "And too much today, you give it so easily, from social media to schools or relationships. And I think it's important – I want to remind the girls that they are perfectly strong as they are. "
Gomez's brand features slogans such as "Strong Inside and Out" – and as the 26-year-old singer is focused on body positivity, the encouraging words fit. She wants fans to feel comfortable in whatever they wear and do not think that comfortable clothes should be worn only at the gym. She explained that the combination of her collection, for example, was the type of clothing that she wore with white sneakers and that she wore at the restaurant.
Although her clothing inspiration comes from everywhere, she is in no hurry to design her own line. She is satisfied with her partnerships and does everything to make women feel powerful in their fashion choices.
