Jose Mourinho added Brazilian international Eder Militao to his Manchester United transfer goals list, according to reports.
The 20-year-old, who has played 13 games for Porto this season after signing for Sao Paulo this summer, would have attracted the attention of the United manager with his performances in Primeira Liga.
Porto is leading the standings, two points behind Sporting Lisbon, and has set the tone in Group D of the Champions League with three wins and one draw in his European campaign so far this season.
And Militao, who has already been selected for the Brazilian national team, and according to the Daily Record, would meet the requirements of potential transfer targets at Old Trafford.
United would target players who could offer resale value, as part of a strategy between the club officials and Mourinho's attempts to recruit Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld.

The Reds, however, could face competition for Militao, Manchester City and Everton competing for his services.
United has been associated with Neapolitan defender Kaildou Koulibaly's movement throughout the season, in light of Mourinho's frustration with the club's inability to bring in a central defender during its summer recruitment campaign.
The Senegalese international, aged 27, has played 17 games with the Serie A team this season. His contract with Stadio San Paolo is valid until the summer of 2023.
