M & S Sia will receive a portion of the stolen funds from the 1MDB this year, says Guan Eng

Malaysia will recover some of the stolen funds from the 1MDB this year, Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng announced today.

While noting that the first return would be a small sum, Lim expressed the hope that it would lead to the return of more stolen funds.

"Malaysia will receive a payment of (stolen) 1MDB (funds) … it will not be billions (of ringgit), but it will be a start …
