Maari 2 Music Review

Arrived with his famous franchise, 'Maari 2' has been widely considered for his musical album. Of course, with the duo Dhanush-Anirudh offering a Chartbuster, it's a long-awaited album, as it marks the return of Dhanush and Yuvan Shankar Raja. Balaji Mohan directs this film, produced by Dhanush for Wunderbar Films. Sai Pallavi plays the female lead in this film that has such important actors as Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Kreshna, Kalloori Vino, Robo Shankar and Tovino Thomas in important roles. A tasteful track with local flavors, which offers a medium-pace treatment. It's something new of its kind when it comes to Yuvan Shankar Raja. What's more intriguing about the song is the Bass and Rhythmic call. However, the lyrical lines of Dhanush are too mediocre, where he tries to recreate something on the lines of "Donu Donu Donu" with a mix of English and Tamil words. Nevertheless, the song could find its attractive graphic through the visual elements, because it is nothing but Prabhu Deva choreographing the song. While a song of such style fervently calls for a voice like Sunitha Sarathy, Dhee's interpretation seems slightly strange.
