ZURICH, Nov. 29 – Sundra Rajoo, a member of FIFA's ethics committee, resigned yesterday, a week after being suspended from his post as a result of an investigation by an anti-corruption unit of FIFA his country. Malaysia, said the world football body.

Fifa said in a statement that she "had taken note of the resignation with immediate effect of Mr. Sundra Rajoo as Vice President of his Trial Chamber".

He did not give further details about the investigation or the charges against Rajoo, who could not be reached immediately for comment. – Reuters
