She was her protective screen protector mother in Crazy Rich Asians (Not to mention one of the best things in the movie), and now Michelle Yeoh follows Henry Golding in another movie. She joined the cast of Last Christmas.
Paul Feig directs the seasonal romantic comedy, whose screenplay is written by Emma Thompson and Bryony Kimmings and follows what happens when Kate (Emilia Clarke), employed as an elf in a Christmas store open all year, finds a unexpected love with Tom (Golding), who seems to be able to get around all his usual emotional barriers. She begins to wonder if it is too good to be true …

Last Christmas will be available on November 15th. Yeoh worked on Joe Carnahan's new action film Boss level and has been in talks to appear in a series derived from Star Trek: Discovery.
