SIA gifts offering TWG Tea gifts to passengers after the in-flight entertainment system runs on a short-haul flight

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has offered exemplary service to its customers, going beyond the usual excuse message presented on Friday, in a gesture of favor for passengers who may not have been so upset .

The mistake made by SIA was not particularly serious: the flight entertainment system of flight SQ977 simply gave way. Plus, it was not even a long flight. We admit that watching movies is an absolute necessity to pass the time, but it was a two and a half hour flight between Bangkok and Singapore.

While people could simply take a nap or take care of something else during that time, SIA still wanted to be reconciled with its affected clients. According to one of the SQ977's passengers, SIA apologized on board and arranged for the gifts to be handed over to Singapore. Tokens of apology? The gift boxes of the TWG tea luxury tea brand, and those things are not so cheap.

The passenger, Srinivasa Rao Bongarala, congratulated SIA for its impressive customer service and for its priority of establishing customer loyalty.

Of course, SIA is a little known for this kind of thing. We remember the time when they spoiled the passengers with stays in five-star hotels after the disruption of their Manila-Singapore flight, or when an AIS manager tried to search for the lost passenger's SIM card.
