The details have been revealed for the upcoming Seoul Music Awards!
The 28th Seoul Music Awards will be held at Gocheok Sky Dome on January 15th at 7pm. KST. It will be broadcast live via KBS Drama, KBS Joy, KBS W and BBangya TV.
The prizes that will be presented are: the grand prize, the best album, the best sound source, the year 's rookie, the best ballad, the best OST, the best R & B / Hip Hop, the best trot, Best Group, Popularity Award, K-Wave Popularity Award, Show & Culture Award, Discovery of the Year, Dance Performance Award, Fandom School Award and Main Awards.
With the exception of the main awards, the rookie award of the year, the popularity award and the K-Wave popularity award, all other winners will be fully determined by the executive committee and the jury of the jury.
Eligible nominees are based on music broadcast from January to December 2018.
For the main awards and the rookie of the year, the criteria are:
Jury of 30%, sales of 40% of albums and songs (Gaon Chart), 30% of fan votes
The popularity price will be determined 100% by the votes of Korean fans, while the price of popularity of K-Wave will be determined to 100% by the votes of international fans.
