The first poster "Ultraman" shares his first poster

Ultraman is one of the most popular tokusatsu series of all time and is often considered one of the major franchises to have introduced the techniques of "revenge" on television.

The series will soon make its debut anime on Netflix, and you can check out the first poster for the series below.

With the first movie trailer teasing the CG look of the new series, the poster gives an indication of what to expect. The series fits a manga that follows the original Ultraman series. As spectators can see in the shadow of the first Ultraman on the poster, this new incarnation will bear a lot on his shoulders, both literally and figuratively, as the son of the first Ultraman attacks to the legacy of his family.

Beginning worldwide on the Netflix streaming service on April 1, 2019, Ultraman will be directed by Kenji Kamiyama of Ghost in the Shell: Appleseed Alpha Autonomous Complex and Shinji Aramaki for Production I.G and SOLA Digital Arts.
