Maurizio Sarri must bring N'Golo Kante back to his privileged position to prevent him from looking like a "very average player".
Sarri attempted to use the Frenchman in a more offensive role than the one he is used to, with limited success.
Jamie Carragher, an expert at Sky Sports, insisted that the Frenchman should be deployed alongside Jorginho to provide him the best.

Carragher thinks that this would also benefit Jorginho, who has made the point in recent weeks.
"The only thing about Kante is that he's a very average player in this [advanced] position he's playing now. I see a normal midfielder, "Carragher told Monday Night Football.
"When he plays deeper, I see a world class midfielder.
For me, I do not think this balance goes well, I think it's quite simple: whether or not Sarri is stuck on this 4-3-3 all the time.
Move Kante would also benefit Jorginho, who has been scarred and is struggling to make an impact on Chelsea's recent games.
Play them as a two midfielder and play Barkley, or Willian in front of more than one 4-2-3-1.
"Two players can receive the ball. If they want to score Jorginho, Kante can receive the ball. We have seen enough in this league to do it.
"It will put Kante back in his best position and that could relieve Jorginho.
"I do not think it's revolutionary."
