The eagle-eyed observers – and home security cameras – spotted something weird in the skies over the Midwest on Friday night.
Robert Medford of Plano, Illinois, sent a video to WGN News from his home security camera system.
Others have posted a video on the observation on Twitter.
Observers reported seeing the bright light across the sky at around 11:45 pm
