To Celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the Liberation of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic [19659006] ( KotOR ), Capital Games brings the favorite characters of fans of the original game to the new and equally popular mobile RPG Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes . KotOR was released for the first time on Xbox on July 15, 2003 and was created four thousand years before the formation of the Galactic Empire.
Upon his release, KotOR quickly gained popularity as the first role-playing video game that allowed players to create their own Jedi characters. In addition to creating new characters, players could build a custom lightsaber and learn the ways of the Force. The initial production of the game, at around 250,000 copies, ended within four days of its release, making it the best-selling title of Xbox at the time. The game was also critically acclaimed at the same time as its commercial success, with many people nicknamed the assassin droid HK-47 one of the best original characters. Just like the revelation of the world of Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back The main plot of the game comes when the player's character discovers that it is in fact one of the most formidable Sith Lords of the galaxy

In a recent interview with ] StarWars .com, Capital Games lead producer Carrie Gouskos and BioWare CEO Casey Hudson and Artistic Director Derek Watts revealed how KotOR is incorporated in Galaxy of Heroes . As of July 12, Galaxy of Heroes began to play "milestones" where popular characters from KotOR were introduced. The main characters are Bastila Shan, Jolee Bindo, Wookiee Zaalbar and a Sith fighter used by Dark Malak. Players can undertake new missions with their favorite characters, as well as revisit familiar places.
The additions of KotOR come after the vocal demands of the strongest Jedi characters in Galaxy of Heroes . Bastila Shan, a young man of the Force and an extremely powerful leader, and Jolee Bindo, an exiled humorous Jedi, directly address this concern. The influence of KotOR can be seen in more than the game arena, as planets like Malachor and Taris and the Hammerhead corvette seen in Rogue One went through in action films and animated shows as Star Wars: The Clone Wars . In the interview, Gouskos also suggests that more content KotOR could come to Galaxy of Heroes .
It is hard to imagine the current mobile game capturing the same level of shock and entertainment that was achieved in the original revelation KotOR where the Sith Lord removes his mask to show the character of the player, but there is undoubtedly more pleasure and nostalgia for Galaxy of Heroes
