Munich – The BMW M Performance Parts Concept is more than just a sleek look – the new design study is 60 kg lighter than the M2 on which it's based and significantly more aerodynamic.
This concept was created using a combination of already available M Performance parts and a number of exclusive features, some of which will be available soon.
The concept makes heavy use of ultra-light carbon fiber components. The carbon grille, hood, front fenders and luggage compartment save 16 kg, which should be available soon on the M2 Competition.
An additional 6 kg is removed by the carbon fiber roof, which has a clear carbon finish and should be on the list of options by March 2019. "Frozen Gold" 19-inch alloys add a unique design flavor to the car with the exterior paint finish Frozen Black.

You will also find plenty of Carbon fiber and gold accents in the cabin, while the upholstery and Alcantara fittings offer a luxurious contrast. Only the carbon fiber sport seats have an empty weight of 9 kg, while the lightweight rear seats can remove 13 kg more.
BMW's M division has not improved its performance. -Before the battery – do a lighter job for the standard turbo 3-liter six-cylinder in-line engine, which drives 272kW and 465Nm.
The dynamics is however improved thanks to an adjustable winding suspension system that allows to lower the car up to 20mm
