Destiny 2 Update 1.2.3 is scheduled for July 17, about a month and a half before Forsaken enters and completely changes the landscape. Bungie says the modifiers will provide benefits to the players who play it, far from the currently punitive modifiers that other activities entail. Solstice of Heroes is on the roadmap for July 31, which is a Friday. The big days of the release of Destiny are usually those of Tuesday. It is therefore unusual for a new event to be scheduled for a Friday. This event will allow players to win 400 power armor in some way, but Bungie has not yet detailed this summer solstice event.
