If you thought that Bullitt's special edition was the tip of the Mustang spear, then think again.

Meet the Eagle Mustang GT squadron; a 522KW beast built to pay tribute to American fighter pilots who flew with the RAF during the Second World War. From where the epic painting, inspired by the RAF Eagle squadrons of the time.

A joint effort by Ford Performance and the firm RTR Vehicles, the Eagle Squadron will perform at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where Vaughn Gittin Jr will attempt to maneuver him on the infamous hillclimb

Details are a bit rare, but we know that under the hood lives the GT 5.0-liter V8, only now with an additional Ford Performance supercharger that increases power to about 700 hp (522 kW). There is also a new carbon body kit and improved "Tactical Performance" suspension components.

The bad news? This brutal Stang is a real one-off, so we will not soon see a field at dealers.
