Last weekend we visited Britain's biggest automobile event, the Goodwood Festival of Speed! The Festival of Speed is quickly imposed as the British Motor Show, and many major brands have unveiled something special during the three days of the event.

The event this year saw a staggering amount of new cars released. One of the biggest came from McLaren, the maker of the house. He has released his new limited edition McLaren 600LT. Lanzante also provided support, in the form of the McLaren P1 Longtail GT at the request of a Middle Eastern customer.

Aston Martin also impressed with the debut of their last GT, the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera. Alongside the DBS, a skunkworks project was again entrusted to a very special customer who imagined the V8 Vantage undercarriage in the city Cygnet

Elsewhere Pagani impressed with the last that they had to offer. Horracio drove from Italy in his personal Pagani Zonda Speedster who joined the Pagani Huayra Roadster on Goodwood Hill. Rivals Koenigsegg bought a green carbon fiber Regera alongside Koenigsegg Agera RSN.

One of the fastest cars on the hill was the Chinese Nio EP9 that was narrowly defeated by Volkswagen's Pikes Peak. We saw the dynamic debut of the Mercedes-AMG GT sedan as well as the Ferrari 488.

Far from modern machines, there was an exhibition of the most iconic cars during 25 years. These ranged from the McLaren F1 until the Koenigsegg Thor, one of the last editions of Agera. The display also included a Veyron and a Ferrari F50.

The Cartier Elegance Contest brought together an exciting mix of vintage cars alongside another McLaren F1 and a Bugatti EB110. For many, the sound of a modern Formula 1 car charging the hill or running donuts is enough to justify the price of entry. We saw a lot of that!

This was also the year of Porsche's birthday, which meant that there was a whole class of cars dedicated to the brand. The cars range from the classic Porsche 917 to the iconic Porsche Carrera GT, with everything else in this medium!

The Festival of Speed is truly a fantastic event. We hope you enjoy the pictures!
