The leaks claim that the details proposed at the Las Vegas dealership meeting indicate a power ranging from 780 to 790 hp. The 10-speed automatic transmission that was the subject of rumors would be an option. Some feared that the GT500 is only available in automatic mode.
The 6-speed manual transmission is supposed to be the basic transmission offering and one that purists are most likely to want. It is said that the car carries a lot of carbon fiber treats and many aerodynamic elements. Aero and carbon fiber could mean that the car will have a road course similar to that of the Ford Shelby GT350.
Traditionally, the GT500 Mustang was rather a car in a straight line intended for the acceleration track and rarely seen on a road course. Obviously, Ford is not talking about the car at the moment. The gigantic opening at the front of the car should allow the supercharged engine to blow more cooling air.
