Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is one of the games this year that I expect the most, but it's also one of those games that, unfortunately, will probably go unnoticed. The game is based on a pen-paper RPG that was particularly popular in Sweden, so any interest in the game that stems from its unnecessarily long name comes from a very specialized audience.

Hopefully the game's intriguing mechanics, its very hard play and unique environment can enable it to reach a wider audience – but the biggest hurdle is to explain what is really Mutant's hell Year Zero: Road to Eden.

This is where the video of the Funcom publisher is presented, which gives a little more detail on the adventures and furtive adventures of the third, as well as on his XCOM-style fight, as well as on the RPG-lite elements that you get through looting.

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is a tactical adventure game combining XCOM's turn-based combat with history, exploration, stealth and strategy. Take control of a team of mutants sailing on a post-human land. Created by a team made up of former HITMAN leaders and the PAYDAY designer.

And here is a list of features!

TACTICAL COMBAT:

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is the ultimate solution for your tactical dependency strategy. Immerse yourself in a deep, turn-based tactical combat system inspired by XCOM games.

EXPLORE A POST-HUMAN LAND:

Travel to a post-human world of abandoned cities, dilapidated highways and overgrown countryside. Head to the Ark, a neon-oasis of little-known and questionable characters, to stock up again and plan your next adventure.

CHECK A TEAM OF MUTANTS:

A duck with an attitude problem and a boar with anger issues; These are not your typical heroes. Get to know Dux, Bormin, Selma and many other characters each with a unique personality and a disturbed perspective of the world and their situation.

MASTER STRENGTH APPROACH:

Sneak through the shadows to avoid conflict or catch unseen enemies. Real-time stealth allows you total control of the approach: sneaking into an enemy camp, placing the mutant team to your advantage and gaining the element of surprise.

Unlock the mutations:

Unlock new mutations and abilities for your mutants, such as Selma's Stoneskin, Bormin's Charge and Dux, with its amazing ability to infiltrate a camp full of enemies, even if it's a talking duck with a crossbow.

DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENTS:

Use the environment to your advantage. Stay out of the spotlight, hide from the line of fire, or simply knock down walls and buildings that are completely destructible and wreak havoc.

LOOT, LOOT EVERYWHERE:

From makeshift slingshots to high-powered rifles to police jackets, be sure to equip your mutants with the dangers that await them. Nothing says post-human quite like a boar mutated in a spiked metal armor charging you with a bullet in your hands.
