Gamestop recently analyzed the games that will be released in the fall of 2018 and the retailer expects Red Dead Redemption 2 to be the best – selling game of the year.
Game Industry had the opportunity to talk to Eric Bright who is Gamestop's current Vice President of Merchandising and he says that the fall of 2018 could be one of the most profitable neighborhoods of the retailer for years.

The Nintendo Switch console has seen sales increase with the ads from Super Smash Bros. and the new Pokemon games. Gamestop says that there is also a huge demand for the Pokeball controller.
This does not even mention the other AAA titles that will be published between September and November. This fall of 2018 will make players very poor because there are too many great games to buy!
