It's fun in urban driving: the direction is urban but still accurate, the three-cylinder engine is thrummy and energetic, the seven-speed gearbox shifts sharply (especially in Sport mode) and the Driving position is rather straight – which will give a lot of the SUV feel that they are looking for.

This is a lot of kit, although the interior does not seem as special as the outside. The architecture of the cabin is neat but not exactly inspired – certainly not in the VW Polo league.

That said, this segment is not really full of character on this front: Kona and Vitara also have discordant interiors compared to their elegant exteriors.
