For BMW, the show and the racing event is the perfect opportunity to present more of its line of M Performance parts, especially because most of them will be available for the all-new M2 Competition starting this month.

To present the M parts, BMW has created a car called M2 M Performance Parts Concept, based on the regular M2.

The goal of the automaker with this concept is to show how much a difference granted by the factory can do the business when it comes to the appearance and capabilities of a vehicle.

The concept that would drive the BMW range to Goodwood is at first 60 kilograms lighter than the production version (132 lbs). The weight has been reduced by using lighter carbon fiber sports seats at the front and rear, a lighter battery or a carbon fiber roof.

Performance offers a M Performance suspension, available for production vehicles. This roll-up suspension allows a lowering of up to 20 millimeters while providing an independently adjustable damping technology to 12 different compression stages and 16 different rebound stages.

BMW did not say if it also changed the engine of the model.

Visually, the M2 screams carbon fiber, and its careful use here and there on the outside gives a very muscular look. There is a bit of bling-bling to the car, because of the gold accents used both on the outside and on the inside.

In the attached document below you can find all the details of the BMW M2 M Performance Parts concept as announced by the German car manufacturer.
