The 911 DLS is a project resulting from a collaboration between Singer and Williams Advanced Engineering, the research and technology development division of the British Williams Formula 1 team. The DLS is based on a 911 964-generation and is designed to be the lightweight 911 ultralight air-cooled, complete with a Williams-twisted chassis and custom-made carbon fiber body panels.

Whining double exhaust pipes of the DLS comes directly from an atmospheric flat-six of 4.0 liters. Just like the power plant used in Porsche's powerful 911 GT3, this engine makes 500 horsepower without the help of a turbocharger and runs effortlessly at 9,000 rpm.

Singer brought two DLS cars to Goodwood, one to beat by automotive journalists the hillclimb and the other for display at the design shop booth outside Goodwood's home. The company plans to build a total of 75 of these cars, worth $ 1.8 million per person.
