Last week, Toyota confirmed that it will bring the Toyota Supra to the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed. A prototype version of the new halo model will make its first appearance on the road during the popular hill climb later this week. The Supra is likely to be heavily camouflaged but will carry its production bodywork.
For those who do not know, a technical partnership between Toyota and BMW will see the Toyota Supra and the BMW Z4 share the same platform. It should be launched in 2019 with several suggesting that it will shoot the Porsche 911. If that is the case, it would be a significant step forward for BMW, as the Z4 currently occupies a less important place on the market.
