"We signed a sales record for a Fretex customer night," said Hilde Kjønstad, Fretex's purchasing manager, after organizing the "Lord's Evening" on Tuesday at Hegnar.no.

A little over a month ago, Fretex received an anonymous donation of about $ 2,000. 300 Italian blazers and trousers hand blown in exclusive materials such as cashmere, silk and wool.

With the initials KR, does anyone think of the letters from Onkel Skrues pengebinge, while others might think of Kjell Inge Røkke? The registration number in the private plane bound for Røkke, dating from the early 2000s, "Rebels Tool", ended at KR.

Røkke spokesman Rolf Nereng says that it is Røkke who has delivered his old designer clothes to Fretex.

The clothes came mainly from the exclusive brand Brioni, but also from Ermenegildo Zelda, Versace, Valentino and Lavin.

– It was about 400 paying customers attended the event between 6 pm and 8 pm yesterday. We will estimate that it was 98% of men. There were some regular customers, but most of the new customers we are hoping now will come back to Fretex to exchange more used ones.

Kjønstad says that there are not many articles left after the event.

– What were the most popular items?

"The dresses were by far the most popular, but we also sold a lot of shirts, outerwear and men's accessories," said Kjønstad.
