It started at 3:45 pm when a vehicle was stuck in the left field of Rælingstunnellen towards Oslo.
– A car has stopped and the left field is closed, which creates traffic problems. We warned car owners, according to East Police District Operational Head Terje Skaftnes.
A few minutes after stopping the car at Rælingstunnelen, Highway 22 Fetveien went wrong. It is right next to the intersection where the Leiraveien meets the highway.
– It seems that a truck has lost part of its load. The message we received at 3:49 pm, explains the head of operations Skaftnes.
He further explains that the events are causing serious traffic problems in the region.
"Right now, you have traffic problems in Lillestrøm," said operations manager Skaftnes.
