"I think it's not clear that she will not disclose information about the company.A leader of this level should not lead to such a secret." This is about trust and cleanliness, says lawyer, labor law expert and university lecturer, Thomas Benson, at E24.

The speculation is about Traaseth's next workplace since Friday's surprising news that the CEO of Innovation Norway will end in 2019.

Her staff and Traaseth herself said that she would start in a "growing business".

She will not answer E24's questions about the society in which she begins. On Twitter, she writes that the name "will be published at the appropriate time".

The chairman of the board does not know

Traaseth also exposes the secret to his colleagues.

When E24 asks the communication department at Traaseth's new workplace, spokesperson Kjetil Svorkmo answers:

– I do not know.

The chairman of the board, Gunnar Bovim, is also not informed of Traaseth's new employer, he told E24.

Innovation Norway states that Traaseth's employment contract does not contain any competition clause and that its obligation of loyalty to the company runs during the redundancy period, which is six months.

Traaseth is therefore not obliged to obtain the stamp of approval from the board on his new place of employment, say the lawyers at E24.

Impartiality issues

But Benson thinks the secret is unusual: he points out that Traaseth will continue to lead Innovation Norway several months before the transition and that the state company will, among other things, make financial allocations during this period.

"This may raise questions about Traaseth's habituality in the decisions she will make while continuing to lead Innovation Norway," said the lawyer, who also has extensive experience in administrative law.

"To avoid speculation about motives, it will be both wise and orderly to indicate how companies are calling and how they work, even if it is not mandatory," he says.

Although Traaseth does not disclose the name of the company, she said on Twitter that she had "never received a crown" from Innovation Norway and that she also did not appear in the Ferd Group's portfolio.

"Yes, but at any time, you do not know which company it is, this can create uncertainty among companies that are considering seeking help or have a different relationship with Innovation Norway, commenting on this. ;lawyer.

IN: Observe the rules of the course

"Clearly, Krohn Traaseth adheres to the rules of habituation, writes Innovation Norway at E24 after being subjected to criticism.

They do not say whether the leadership role of Traaseth will be limited to the transition to the growing society and if there are decisions that it will no longer be able to take to empower.

E24's question about why Traaseth does not enter the company name, the date of the last Traaseth business day and the date the new company was created when it does so is also unanswered.

Innovation Norway notes that it has been a few days since the Director informed the President of her departure and that practical clarifications remain unanswered.

– How the six-month lay-off period will be implemented in practice, discussed by Traaseth and the President. The outcome of the discussion will be chaired by the chairman of the board in December, writes Innovation Norway.

They state that it is not appropriate for Traaseth to start in the new company before the expiration date, indicating that Traaseth has already stated that the company is not a customer. Innovation Norway nor is part of the Ferd Group's portfolio.
