590 horses and 400 kilometers of autonomy.
A few months after Audi's launch of its first electric car in the form of a fully electric e-tron SUV, the automaker introduced its new e-throne GT as well as snapshots in recent days. The electric sports car will be launched in 2021 and shares many features with Porsche's first electric Taycan.
Beginning of 2021
The Grand Turismo model was introduced this year at the Los Angeles Auto Show, which took place this week. According to information provided by Audi, the delivery of cars would start in early 2021, without further details on the price. The production itself starts too late in 2020.
The car is equipped with a 90 kWh battery pack and two electric motors that together generate a power of 590 horsepower and a 0 to 100 acceleration of 3.4 seconds. The German car manufacturer specifies the range of the car to 400 kilometers according to the WLTP standard.
Cargo faster than Tesla
With the Taycan structure, Audi also benefits from a very fast charge: the battery will be able to recharge 80% in 20 minutes, which is greater than the supercharging of Tesla.
