It is in connection with the choice of KrF that Hareide – as was "the man of my life" according to Skei Grande – wanted to meet other people. He followed the heart and chose Ap and Sp in front of his existing relations on the bourgeois side.
At the news of the violation, he therefore chooses to send Skei Grande by SMS and Hareide admits that it was not particularly gallant.
"I've never been good at going out with ladies, they always came with me, so I've never had a lot of experience with that," Hareide told Political Quarter.

The KrF leader added that he thought it was left – not him – who had taken the first step outside the relationship. That's what happened when Skei Grande brought his party to the government with the RPF.

Asked about Hareide's place of mourning after choosing a page of Norwegian politics while his own party turned his back on him, Hareide responded to the "disappointment phase".
