Østensjø Shipping, based in Haugesund, has signed a contract with Edda Fauna with a large European energy group in the renewable energy sector.
The contract, which began this month, guarantees the ships will work during the winter to start the DeepOcean contract from March of next year.
Sun Enabler is also insured for the winter after signing a contract with VBMS – also for jobs in the renewal sector.
In addition, the shipping company and Norske Shell, on behalf of Gassco, agreed to renew the cable car and terminal services contract at Shell Nyhamna.
This is a contract signed by Østensjø since 2007.
The contract has a fixed term of five years and two-year options starting in 2019.
