The 24-year-old woman found dead after a fire in an apartment in Egersund, Sept. 17, died from an injury to the head, says the final autopsy report.

The woman's husband (28 years old) was accused of killing the woman the next day and has since been detained in police custody. The pair is from Sudan. He lived in Norway for three years and his wife came from Sudan this summer.

The woman was found dead in the couple's apartment in Egersund after the fire of September 17 this year.

– The cause of death can not be related to the fire. The woman died as a result of her injuries, said police lawyer Fredrik Martin Soma in the South West Police District in Stavanger Aftenblad.

According to the newspaper, no litter was found in the woman's trachea or lungs, which would indicate that the woman had died before the fire. The damage to the head is caused by stupid violence. The autopsy also showed that the woman was pregnant.

The husband refuses to pay a penalty. He claims that he was asleep when the fire broke out and that he could not get in touch with his wife in the living room and the kitchen.
