A mother-in-law is acquitted in the Kristiansand District Court after allowing her nine-year-old child to take care of her three younger siblings in two, five and seven years.

The woman was first sentenced to six months in jail by the district court. However, when the Agder Court of Appeal was to rule on the appeal, she was referred to the District Court for improper motives.

After having dealt with the case again, the district court has now acquitted the woman, writes Agderposten.
