Demolition work at Queen's Gateway Gate-Sandgata led to police searches Wednesday morning.
An AN-tiper called and explained that pieces fell from the building down the road. Pedestrians also do the demolition work.
"It's irresponsible," said the tipler.
When Avisa Nordland contacts the police, it asks a patrol to be sent and to investigate further. The police had received phones from the public.
"The construction manager has been ordered to repair the security, as well as physically stop the traffic and pedestrians during the work, writes the police in a Twitter message.
The demolition work is part of the construction of the new hotel and the Storm apartments project.
