The promises can not wait Magnus Carlsen to defend the title of the World Cup.
Carlsen led Wednesday's World Cup match against American Fabiano Caruana. The Nordmann beat Curuana 3-0 in the quick matches, defending the World Cup title for the third time in his career.
The chess fever apparently raged during Wednesday's business numbers and reactions were not postponed in social media.

One of the first to congratulate Carlsen was the chess legend Garri Kasparov.
He writes on Twitter that Carlsen showed his best team during the round in London.

Deferred Concert
However, it's not just chess that took the time to follow Carlsen on Wednesday.
Norwegian artist Bjørn Eidsvåg was clearly looking forward to joining the match. Eidsvåg was to be on stage in Halden at 19:00, but said on Twitter that the concert would be postponed until Carlsen had won.
