– a hypocrite

Even though half of the world separates the two today, they meet each time Medina is in the United States and is always aware of the life of the other, he says.

– We talk every night and when we have time together, we are together at the cinema, at lunch and at parties.

The artist, originally from Chicago, has been living in Norway for a few years and settled with the Norwegian Silje Skylstad, whom he met with his daughter Mila a year and a half ago.

In social media, many people were stuck in the fact that Medina went further and was described as both "hypocrites" and "lies". These descriptions are not something that the artist recognizes and against which he is now hard.

– I do not notice, to be honest. I've stopped bothering it a long time ago. Nobody can say that I am a liar. When they do, it simply means that they have imagined how my life should be. When people try to tell me something like that, I do not know, he says.

The 35-year-old journalist conceals all the accusations and reveals that his new girlfriend, Silje Skylstad, has met the ex-fiancé – and that they have good relations with each other.

– A wild trip

Medina recognizes that life was not the one he had imagined.

– How did your life change to "American Idol"?

– Well, without this competition, I probably would not have had my pretty daughter, not my pretty girlfriend, I did not live in this beautiful country and I did not do this beautiful Wild trip either, answered Medina. .

And the wild journey will continue. On Saturday, the 35-year-old is one of the ten finalists in the PPM final. With the song "We Try", he will try to become Norway's contribution to Eurovision – which will take place in Tel Aviv in May.

The case continues below.

– I wrote the song in Sweden six years ago. I never gave it because I felt it was fierce for my audience. I've always said that the only way it could work was to link it to something much bigger. So it was a simple choice when choosing a song for the Melody Grand Prix, he said.

Medina has agreed to participate in the Norwegian Song Contest to be part of what all Norwegians know and have a relationship with.

"I thought it was a great opportunity to get deeper into the culture," he continued.

With the song, he wants to encourage others to dry and take chances to achieve happiness.
