Rights Manager Fotball Media, owned by the Norwegian Football Federation, and Norsk Toppfotball have reached an agreement with the Chinese sports application Dongqiudi.
This is the first time that rights on Eliteseria are being sold directly to a foreign market located outside the Nordic region and Europe. The fights are becoming accessible to users in China, which represents a huge market with more than 1.3 billion people.
The deal gives the Chinese the right to play all the matches of the elite series of the 2019 season to 2021.

Dongqiudi's director of business development, Guo Kaixuan, explains the acquisition that football is very popular in China and they want to expand their offer.
