The Men 's Men' s Football Series is sold in China and will be available on the Chinese market from next year.

Rights Manager Fotball Media, owned by the Norwegian Football Association, and Norsk Toppfotball have reached an agreement with the Chinese sports app Dongqiudi, writes VG.

The deal gives the Chinese the right to play all the matches of the elite series of the 2019 season to 2021.

Dongqiudi itself announced that the application has four million daily active users, but not less than 40 million registered users.

According to VG, the sports application paid less than two million crowns for the transaction. The amount is shared between the two owners of Fotball Media.

Dongqiudi's director of business development, Guo Kaixuan, explains the acquisition that football is very popular in China and they want to expand their offer.

"It's kind of a test for us, we do not really know what we can get for investment," he said.
