Fire in a barrel in Tromsø. Police suspect firepower

He broke a garbage can at the Reinen School in Tromsdalen on Tuesday night. The fire was extinguished, but the shed was completely damaged.

Suspected firepower

Robin Lindberg, police attorney, said the shed was not connected to the distribution network.

Police believe that the smallest fires at Ishavsby High School are under attack. Rector Asbjørn Rikardsen said on Sunday that he would install surveillance cameras at the school to stop the possible firefighter.

"We often use chainsaws along the way to extinguish, drill holes in the walls and let the flames through," says Sørem.

He says it's a bit cheaper to use chain saws to reduce barley residues.
