The case is updated.

Trøndelag police said on Twitter Sunday at 10:45 that a fire had been reported at Møllenberg in Trondheim.

– An inductor on the spot reports flames and a lot of smoke. According to Kirsten Bergstrøm, head of Trøndelag's police operations, the construction of the roof of the burning building is on fire.

Bergstrøm thinks most of the inhabitants are out of the house.

– It seems that the police on the spot control evacuations. Everyone should be out of the building, even if it has not been confirmed yet, says Bergstrøm just before 11:00.

Adresseavisen has a journalist on site who reported the presence of five fire trucks and that the fire spread on the roof.

At 11:15, fire departments may declare that they have not yet mastered the fire.

– No, we have no control. We work with extinction. We have smoke divers inside the building, they go off in the attic where it still burns. We also have firefighters in the neighboring building to prevent this from spreading, says Fank Hansen, security officer of the Trøndelag fire and rescue service.
