Season three off "Helen is registering" is on track and in the first episode, we joined Helene Sandvig (50), who was responsible for the program, registering for the newborn service at St Olavs Hospital in Trondheim. There was a strong meeting with newly born parents and newborns who arrived in the world too soon.

In the second episode, Helene goes to the Ravneberget Women's Prison in Sarpsborg. She meets women who, for various reasons, have failed between the two.

One of Helen's meetings is Mary's mother-in-law. In her conversation with Helen, she tells him that she is facing what she calls "bitterness and something like that".

– I have five children. This is both embarrassment and sadness. I'm sorry When you're a mother, you should not be in prison. Therefore, I am guilty of myself. I should not have been here but with my children. But then I got here and it's hard enough, that is to say said Maria honestly.

– How did Maria hear these feelings so open and honest, Helen?

"I am a mother and can understand that she says what she says You want to be with your children, not in jail Say that you have a mother or father in prison is not easy thing no And that is what imprisoned mothers and fathers are very aware of, they feel guilty because they are difficult for the family, "Helene told KK.

"I really felt what it was like to be cool

In the episode, she said that it was difficult for her to ask the detainees what they had done.

"When I get something new, I have to feel, I can not spoil and ask sensitive questions immediately, what you are doing can be sensitive to asking because the person you are talking to asking for it may be ashamed to be embarrassed to stay in jail – to ask difficult questions, I need to know myself a little, to gain confidence, she says.

– Have you ever been scared or have you ever felt safe during your stay?

– I was never scared, but I felt bad at first because I did not know anyone. Especially the first time I had to eat with them in the dining room, I really felt what it was like to be fresh, brand new, "Helene said.

During the episode, a new prisoner arrives at the Ravneberget Women's Prison and Helene immediately receives compassion for the girl of the early twenties.

"It's a tough lesson to be in jail, I felt great with the kids, sometimes you make the wrong choices in life, it can happen the best, the most important thing is that you learn from your mistakes and you get to life, concludes Helene with KK.

"Helen is registering" will be broadcast on Wednesday, November 28 at 21:20 on NRK1.
