Their "Big O" is in practice an extremely powerful gaming PC that also includes an Xbox One X, a Playstation 4 Pro and a Nintendo Switch docking station.
The game monster is not a thing they plan to sell to customers, but a way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the company.

The PC itself also has heavy specifications: an Intel Core i9-9900K processor, Nvidia Titan RTX graphics cards, 64GB RAM (4 x 16GB) and a total of 18 terabytes of storage on two Samsung 970 EVO disks. NVMe 2TB large size for the operating system and other Seagate Barracuda drives.
The motherboard that they used is a divine MSI MEG Z390 and is powered by a 1,000-watt EVGA Supernova G3 power supply. To give an idea of the cost of such a machine, note that only the graphics card costs about 30,000 NOK.
The consoles were also taken out of their usual cabinets and placed in the Big O's custom Genesis cabinet, where they were connected by water-cooling, an integrated Ethernet switch, an HDMI switch and USB 3.0 extension cables. . This means that the machine has only one HDMI port on the back, compatible with personal computers and consoles, as well as individual USB ports for each one of them.
Origin also inserted a 2 TB terabyte SSD on each console to reduce load times.
"Tribute" to the first big o
The 2019 version of Big O also allows Origin to honor the original Big O machine, released in 2010. At that time, it was a PC associated with an Xbox 360 Slim. customers.
The money that it cost was not just for everyone: $ 7,669 was going to start the machine at that time, about $ 9,000 today, if you take into account inflation is just under 80,000 NOK.
The entry-level room includes an Intel Core i7-930 processor at 4.0 GHz, two Nvidia GTX 480 graphics cards, 6 GB of RAM, two 50 GB OCZ SSDs each and a burner bluray Pioneer. However, the machine could also be configured with two Intel Xeon processors and up to 24 GB of RAM, among others.
